Their capacity under defined exercise shows whether someone is up to a physically demanding task. Peak V̇O₂ and maximum power turn the assessment into a measured value, for example before work involving respiratory protection.
Occupational medicine decisions must remain traceable even years later. Raw data and analysis are retained for every examination and document what the assessment was based on.
Repeat examinations are only meaningful if the conditions stay the same. Defined ramp and step protocols keep the measurement comparable over years and between sites.
The examination comes to the workforce instead of the other way around, onto the shop floor or out into open areas. The mobile measurement system weighs less than 600 g and operates from minus 10 to plus 40 degrees Celsius.
